Portland’s 25 Hottest Residential Real Estate Firms
Sean Z Becker Real Estate was honored to be recognized as one of the top 25 hottest residential real estate firms in Portland, OR. As of March 2018, the Portland Business Journal ranked Sean Z Becker Real Estate as the #5 Hottest Residential Real Estate Firm in Portland.
From the Portland Business Journal: “And much like our regular ‘hottest neighborhoods’ project — ranking ZIP codes by home sales, average price and days on market — we’ve crunched the numbers on these firms to rank them on seven equally weighted factors: total sales volume, gain in volume, volume per agent, number of homes sold, gain in homes sold, homes sold per agent and, finally, average sale price.”

Inman Special Report: Indie Brokerage Strengths and Threats
Infiltrating a Niche Community With Local Expertise
From Inman Special Report: Becker built his steady firm on a high-touch model and strong community ties. A tight inventory in 2016 left Becker feeling like “a shoe salesman with no shoes,” but SZBRE made it work with 43 percent share of the South Waterfront market that year, selling 28 of the 65 closed transactions recorded by the MLS and growing sales volume to $60 million from 2014’s $35 million.
His experience shows that one way to truly master a real estate market is to become ensconced in an area when it’s still brand new.
